I was starting to think that I would run into more problems now and down the
road with godaddy.. I will start looking for a new server to host on ASAP.

Do you have any recommendations for an efficient yet cost effective hosting
source?

Again, Thank you for spending the time to look n reply to my post..

THANK YOU,</pre>

      <pre>Leo,
I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you... I don't think you will have
much luck running PA on a GoDaddy account...

Also, this URL to the user's page is not actually a directory that get's
created, but it get's re mapped via an apache .htaccess redirection rule...
You <strong>*may*</strong> get some more success by turning off PA pre7's 'fancy urls'
feature, but I'm not sure if that's stiill fully possible.

PA has evolved quite a bit from the times when it was possible to run it
on a mass-hosting account.

Sorry I don't have better news for you,

      <pre>Leo,
your description is not quite clear... are you seeing a blank page or a
"Page not found" error message?

Here are several thing you can do better debug this:
* make sure your PHP installation outputs errors to the browser (see
your php.ini file) and maybe have it set to error_reporting E_ALL so
that you see any errors and notices etc
* if you are seeing blank pages... the above error reporting step should
at least give you a message as to what is wrong
* if you can't do this, see if you can look into apache's error log,
often the error reporting of PHP is output there instead of to the browser

It's a 'common' problem with some PHP installs that they miss several
modules etc that PA relies on, and with error reporting off you'll never
know ^^

In a pre7 or older installation, you will want to have a close look at
web/includes/contants.php
This is where all <strong>*initial*</strong> module placement is defined. Note that you
may have to user the admin screen 'select modules' and 'restore'
defaults to make any changes actually show up - that is IF you have used
this screen before to customize module placements. If you know what you
are doing you can also flush out the module placement data in the DB. If
I recall corectly you will then need to re-run /update/run_scripts.php
to have it read the changed settings into the DB.

of PA this has all changed dramatically...</pre>

    <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<pre>in the current pre7 builds (and before) yiz can have a look at the
various web/*.php files.
The lne you are looking for looks like this one:

$page = new PageRenderer("setup_module", PAGE_GROUP, "Group:
".$group-&gt;title,
"container_three_column.tpl",'header_group.tpl',PRI,HOMEPAGE,$network_info,NULL,$setting_data);
See here the third parameter: "Group: ".$group-&gt;title
You can customize that to your heart's desire.

If you need more control... I guess the only way would be to hack the
PageRenderer.php class that actually creates the HTML header...

Hope that helps,

&gt; The overall site "Title/Heading" is set in the Admin under "General

for a specific page, I would like to change the &lt;title&gt; tag for that specific
page.

effects the specific page, i.e. groups_home.php.</pre>
