Is there a "debug mode" to list all classes/methods and/or diagnostic info for
each page?

No about classes/methods. But you can see the name of block modules there by

What I did to get this information was set $logger_severity = LOGGER_INFO; in
logger.conf. Then all this info will show up in the file set by the
$logger_logFile vairable which is also in logger.conf.
